I think its a lot harder to be a moral person here in So.Cal. Almost nothing is walking/bicycling distance!

Mainly because, as an individual, I don't have the kind of influence needed to change the entire energy infrastructure of the US. And at this point in my life, I don't have the money to buy an electric car.

And ironically enough, I'll never get that money unless I buy gas to drive to work.

and my issue isn't what the owner thinks. my issue is that their profits are used to promote hate. they don't get my money if that's what they plan to spend it on.

As a Christian, I really am digusted by anyone putting homosexuals to death..so this honestly has me in a bit of a moral dilemma, as well.

@IntoTheWind1 - Just stating a fact. People want to bash Muslims because of something a rogue group of followers did more than ten years ago so they take a couple of isolated incidents and make it like they're every day occurrences. The Muslims never had an Inquistion, never went on any crusades, and as far as I know there's never been an Islamic Child Sex Abuse scandal. Take a good look at all the evil shit going on in the name of your own religion before you start bashing others.

Interesting meme, but of course (like many internet memes) it isn't grounded in fact. A small percentage of US oil imports (source) come from the  OPEC nations, and even then, homosexuality is a capital offense in only two of the twelve OPEC nations (Saudi Arabia and Iran). (source)  Nonetheless, reducing our dependence on oil in general and, specifically, oil imported from Saudi Arabia, remains an important goal.
