Wow O_O... ten months.

I know we skipped a few there, just because I  was soooo busy.

Welp, here we go, play along! :D

Here’s how this works. This is NOT a challenge for the faint of heart.

Instead of one picture, you get three. You also get a key word/words, a color, and a sound. You must use all of them in your piece.

This exercise is meant to expand your writing skills, and help you to open your mind to creative possibilities while at the same time, keeping to the prompts.

Each picture has to fit into your short story/sonnet/prose, whatever it is that you write. However, you do not have to incorporate them in the order of their appearance. You can mention the second first, be inspired by the first second, and so on.

You do not have to mention the picture in the piece, it can represent symbolism, but it must stay

true to what is depicted.

For instance, if I give you a picture of an egg, you can use it like this, “I felt like a new born, coming out of its shell.”

 

Also, you must use the key word/words. You can use it/them in the story at any point,

or make it your focal point, but it must be included in the story somewhere. For instance, if my key word was glass, you could mention it in a window, mirror, cup, metaphorically (the water reflected me like a looking glass)

The key word/words is/are, "Ice" "Blizzard" "Fascination" "obscure" "Devious" and "sanity"  

You must also use a color, The color is, "Teal"

You may use this any way you like, so long as I see the word “teal”

You must also include a sound. The sound that I have chosen is "A pack of HOWLING wolves" -

When you are finished, let me know, and show me all of the places in which you

used, were inspired by, or mentioned the pictures, sounds and keywords. J

Your piece may be a short story (fifty pages or less please), a poem, a song, a

script, or monologue… just about anything. However, please keep in mind that I do READ these and so do younger audiences. Yes, they might be of an erotic nature, or contain love scenes, but extreme, obtuse, or just out right whacky work will not be rec’d by me (but will still be added)

Submissions as COMMENTS WILL BE DELETED and not counted. The point is to get people to see your work, visit your site, etc. Putting a piece in the comments defeats the purpose :P

The cut off is the end of the month, you may join next month's fun if you haven't added by then.

Each new entry will be timestamped/tagged. :)
